Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Signals, operated by Hypership Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

Description of Service

Signals is a feedback and survey platform that allows users to create "signals" (surveys/feedback forms), invite participants, collect responses, and view aggregated insights. The service enables continuous feedback collection with optional anonymity features.

User Accounts

To use certain features of Signals, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Signals to:

  • Collect personal data from respondents without appropriate consent or legal basis
  • Create surveys that are illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers or networks connected to the service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service or any other systems or networks
  • Use the service to send unsolicited communications (spam)

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or submit through Signals, including survey questions and responses. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

You are solely responsible for the content of your signals and ensuring that your use of the service complies with applicable laws, including data protection regulations.

Intellectual Property

The Signals platform, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Hypership Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our service without our written permission.

Data Protection

If you are a signal owner collecting personal data from respondents, you are the data controller for that data and are responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR). You must:

  • Have a lawful basis for collecting the data
  • Inform respondents about how their data will be used
  • Respond to data subject requests as required by law

We use error monitoring tools to maintain service reliability and security.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hypership Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
